Keeper Shelby Dobbs has played with a stye in his right eye the size of a shrinking small guava melon, same color too, for nine straight winter weeks before it finally started to look halfway normal in week 10.
Midfielder Brandon Smith tweaked his groin on the shot that led to a goal and win in the Feb. 21 Inter Feierabend game at Interbay. He stated he shouldn't have played in the 5-3 win over FC Five Star the following week as a shot and stretch aggravated it more ... but he scored after a week of rest in the 3-1 win over Gunners on March 14 at Shorecrest High School.
Midfielder Dean Lencioni missed all February games after he went down with about 30 minutes to play in the Rock game on Jan. 31 at Robinswood when he landed bad on his right knee. He stated he heard a pop and a hyperextension; Lencioni has since returned to action.
Midfielder Matt Galvin remains tending to a knee aggravation with the faintest of hopes to return to action in sometime in 2010.
